Pixar has confirmed that "Monsters University" is officially set to be released June 21, 2013, nearly guaranteeing hundreds of millions more in profits, as the original film was a huge hit in worldwide box offices, becoming the fourth-most successful Disney-Pixar release of all time. On Tuesday, Deadline reported that "Finding Nemo 2" is being pursued by Disney-Pixar, which reportedly recently selected "John Carter" director Andrew Stanton to direct the film.
According to new “reports” not only did a Finding Nemo 2 get the green light from Pixar but a Toy Story 4 did as well. While many believe that Toy Story 3 had the perfect ending to the series, there is gossip (mostly on Twitter) that there is a number four is indeed in the works – this coming straight from Woody himself (well, Tom Hanks that is.) E! Online reporting on the news, in particularly the part about John Carter’s director, Andrew Stanton’s possible involvement.
Meanwhile, last year Tom Hanks (the voice behind the toy cowboy character Woody in the "Toy Story" films) said during an interview with BBC News that he believed "Toy Story 4" was being worked on. We do know that Tom Hanks, Michael Keaton and Joan Cusack will be providing voice work “and” Toy Story 4" is expected to be released sometime in 2015.
'Toy Story' has become one of the most successful franchises in animated film history.
