When rumors more tightening about Apple that will release a mini iPad (7 inches) to compete with Kindle Fire, Amazon rumored to be releasing Kindle Fire with iPad screen-sized.

As reported by CNET, Amazon will release an updated version of its flagship tablet, 10 inches Kindle Fire, as part of efforts to secure a place in the middle of iPad dominance.
With 10-inch screen, Amazon is really going to put Kindle Fire as main rival for iPad that also has the same screen size.
Meanwhile, Digitimes reported, Amazon has asked Foxconn Electronics as an ODM (original design manufacturer’s) of tablets to be marketed in 2012.
As for the component suppliers in Taiwan, Wistron will start production Nook Tablet for Barner & Noble.
Kindle Fire previous version, have 7 inches screen, manufactured by Quanta Computer, manufacturer that also makes Nook Tablet for Barner & Noble.
A vendor usually pointed an ODM when launching a new product. However, as written by Digitimes, they will then seek additional ODM for reduce risk and price negotiations if the new product gets good response from the market.
According to IHS iSuppli, Amazon has sold 3.9 million Kindle Fire, while Barnes & Noble Nook sells 1.92 million tablets in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Digitimes Research estimates, in the first quarter of this year, it sold 1.5 million Kindle Fire and 300,000 Nook Tablet.
