Olivia Culpo, 20, of Rhode Island United States of America finally wore the Crown of miss universe on her head on Wednesday night. For the first time in 15 years, USA won the miss universe contest.
As quoted from pages CNN.com: "What an honor! This night was a dream comes true. Thank you everyone for your support tonight!! USA finally did it, "Culpo posted on her official Twitter page later.
To be the winner of the miss universe contest, Culpo has to beat 88 other participants. While miss Philippines, Janine Tugonon were in second place.
So, what Culpo get as the winner of miss universe 2012? As Miss Universe, Culpo will receive an undisclosed salary, a wardrobe fit for a queen, a limitless supply of beauty products, and a luxury apartment in New York City.
