On the Playbook 2.0 media briefing at the Apartment Tower Gracia, Rasuna Said, Jakarta Tuesday (2/21/2012), Marketing Director of PT. Research In Motion (RIM) Indonesia, Eka Anwar, mentions that the upgrade software is available globally simultaneous.
"Software upgrades are available for download, launching globally. Available in our time starting 12 PM (GMT+7) noon today," said Eka.
Eka also confirmed the leak that has been circulated earlier, the number of new features presented in the Playbook OS 2.0.
"Playbook 2.0 presents an integrated email, calendar and contacts, and improved mobile productivity, application and new content," he said.
And the most awaited, Playbook 2.0 can run Android applications. "We thank to Android developer so their applications can be used here," he said
