ASEAN Fair 2011 Event is an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to expand and promote Indonesia to the world.
In the event a regional workshop on partnership development, young entrepreneurs from ASEAN countries will be grouped into a single business cluster. Then asked to produce a business proposal together within the framework of ASEAN Equitable Development.
This was conveyed by Deputy Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry and Trade Edy Putra Irawadi between the implementation of jamboree entrepreneurial activities in order to support ASEAN Fair 2011, in Musro, Kuta Bali, Thursday (10/11/2011).
"It will be presented to the ASEAN level; there are jury from ADB, World Bank and other institutions. They are ready to provide funding," he said.
Unfortunately, said Edy, the potential of creative industries do not receive much support from local investors. Investors that much interested in the potential of creative industries are coming from abroad.
Creative industries need to be supported to become entrepreneurs, most of them young age and inexperienced may take the training and mentoring.
According to experience, for mentoring sessions and business incubation Edy said needs fund to 35,000 USD per person. "This is the task of Hipmi and so on," said Edy
