Congratulations are in order for Shakira and her boyfriend, soccer player Gerard Piqué.
Colombian pop-star Shakira and her husband, Spanish soccer stud Gerard Pique, welcomed a baby boy into the world Tuesday night.
“We are happy to announce the birth of Milan Pique Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Pique, born January 22nd at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain,” the statement said.

Milan, the couple’s first child, weighed 6 pounds and 6 ounces at birth, the hospital confirmed, adding that both the mother and child are “in excellent health.”
Last week the couple invited fans to join them at their virtual baby shower, where they can purchase essential baby gifts that will support UNICEF and benefit some of the world's most vulnerable babies.
The on-line baby shower engages social media fans by enabling them to join the popstar and her footballer beau in their virtual living area, where they can obtain 'Inspired Gifts' like mosquito nets, polio vaccines and baby-weighing scales that will be distributed to youngsters and communities in some of the poorest corners of the world.
After getting an 'Inspired Gift', fans can then receive a private thanks message from the couple, and be in a position to view exclusive photos of them taken in December 2012 by Jaume Laiguana.
In late December, Piqué facetiously posted on Twitter that their son had been born, partaking in Spain's Dia de los Inocentes, which is similar to the American April Fool's Day.
The couple has been dating for two years and announced the pregnancy last September. UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Shakira and Piqué posed semi-nude together last week to promote their baby shower, which benefited UNICEF.
