Apple Start Selling New iMac

Apple said it began selling the newest iMac last November, especially iMac with 21.5 inches display, while the 27 inch will be launched this December.

In its official website recently, Apple says the latest iMac design thinner, only 5 mm, and the volume is 40 percent more compact than the previous generation.

The screen is made thinner with thinner LCD components, and wrapped in a shell of glass through a process called full lamination to eliminate the cavity of 2 mm between the LCD and glass.

Power reflective screen is 75 percent lower than the previous generation, and the calibration process using three state-of-the-art spectroradiometers, one to measure gamma, another measure the white point, and the third to check the work of two functions of the first and second.

 Apple claims the latest iMac is better energy efficient, 50 percent more efficient. More environmentally friendly because the materials are made of aluminum and glass that can be recycled and reused.

A model with 21.5-inch screen is produced in two variants, with Intel Core i5 quad-core 2.7GHz and Intel Core i5 quad-core 2.9GHz.

Similarly, 27 inch screen also presented in two variants, the Intel Core i5 quad-core 2.9GHz and Intel Core i5 quad-core 3.2GHz.

All models are powered by 8GB DDR3 memory (two pieces @ 4GB); NVidia GeForce graphics are different for each variant with 512MB to 1GB of memory.

Equipped with HD camera, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and a headphone minijack port for the Apple iPhone as well as for the headset with microphone.

What are the features of the connection? SDX card slot, four USB 3 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, Mini Display Port output with support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI, and 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector).

The keyboard and mouse use wireless connection (Magic Mouse) and Magic Track pad.

802.11 n wireless connection Wi-Fi wireless networking and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology.

The latest iMac has equipped the latest Mac operating system, OS X Lion Mountain.

IMac prices vary for each variant, ranging from 1299 dollars, 1499 dollars, 1799 dollars, and 1999 dollars the highest specification per unit.
