Google Street View Now Comes in Indonesia

Google Street View is a service from Google that we can use for see a place in the real situation.

Now we can enjoy Google Street View for Indonesia. It is fun and it will be an interesting experience for users of Electronic Maps Indonesia.

Precisely on Friday, November 23 2012 Google Street View today officially launched its services in Indonesia. At a launch event held at Epicentrum Walk, Jakarta was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mari Elka Pangestu and its Google Product Manager, Andrew McGlinchey.

So, from that day did Google Street View cars will start operating to collect photographs from various regions in Indonesia.

Andrew said that currently there are 10 cars that will work for Google Street View.

Starting from Jakarta, Google Street View will capture up to other cities. They will update it every year or two years.

Meanwhile, for maintain the privacy and security of individuals from the recorded data, they will make the blur on the faces and vehicle number plates that they capture. Even if it is a photo taken turns invasion of privacy, Google also will remove them
