2012 VW Beetle Specs

The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle, hewing to the original name and retro styling, on Monday made a simultaneous debut at the 2011 New York auto show, Shanghai and Berlin. Volkswagen will offer three different engines for the new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle: a diesel and two petrol. The 2.0 TDI engine delivers 138 HP and everything has a fuel economy of 40 mpg in the cycle of the highway is 29mpg in city and 33mpg combined. It will be available with a gearbox 6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed dual clutch. The gasoline engine lineup will include a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine and a 197 hp 2.0 TSI.
