The latest news said, Apple has chosen the first week in March as the launch of the new tablet. The event will be held in San Francisco, USA, and most likely located in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts which is Apple's favorite spot for big event like this.
There are no clear information about the exact date of the launch and availability. But again, if you consider Apple's habit, generally available in stores one week after the gadget is launched.
