According to Wikipedia.org site, Art Clokey’s was born in Detroit, Michigan, on October 12, 1921. The site was also mentioned that Art Clokey’s birth name is Arthur C. Farrington. His parents divorced when he was 9 years old and he lives with his father, Charles Farrington. Not to long, Art Clokey later lived with his mother in California because his father died in a car accident.
Then Art Clokey’s is adopted by Joseph W. Clokey at age 12 because his stepfather had no desire to raise the boys. Joseph W. Clokey teaching music at Pomona College, Carement, California.
Art Clokey is studying Geology and love to dig up fossils, according to Wikipedia.org, and his first film, Gumbasia, clay animation parody of Disney's Fantasia made in 1955. In 1957, for the first time The Gumby Show aired.
